It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmassss!
December at the office is my ABSOLUTE favorite season! I don’t know what happens, but the energy completely shifts. There’s this electric vibe, a buzzing excitement floating everywhere. And honestly, the Social Club has a lot to do with it: from December 1st to 18th, we have activities every single day. Each day has its own theme—desserts, red outfits, and even… a Christmas sprout hunt (I am WAY too curious to see how that’s going to turn out haha).
The best part? Everyone goes all in. It brings teams together that normally barely cross paths—the warehouse, the offices, the buyers hidden in the back. You’ll definitely see some fun moments pop up on our socials!
I also love that all the sample sales and defective-item sales go straight to the Social Club. Thanks to that, we can plan some seriously cool activities. And on December 11th, we’ve got our big Christmas party. We’re all getting dressed to the nines, and this year, I hired a photographer. Lots of memories incoming. The idea popped into my head and I just went for it—why not!

At work, we just survived the Black Friday storm. It’s intense every year — even after 10 years, the stress hits just the same. It’s the last big push before the end of the year, so we want to perform, period. (I’m writing this on November 25… there’s still a weekend left, I AM BUZZING.) For December, Womance is launching a very colorful collection. Last year, you all LOVED it, so we’re doing it again, but with a different theme. And after a few months under the “holiday season” theme, it’s going to feel great to bring some color back! As I write this, you haven’t seen anything yet… I can’t wait to see your reactions.
On a personal note: when I was little, Christmas wasn’t the most wow event of my life. At my friends’ houses, everything seemed bigger, fuller, brighter. At ours, it was simpler, smaller, less “special.” And of course, I compared. I found my Christmases ordinary. But as I grew up, I realized the magic is elsewhere: in the real moments, with the real people. Our family, or the one we’ve built over time. An imperfect mix, but so precious. (The bland turkey, though… I’ll never get over it.)
I wish you a holiday season full of light, sweetness, happiness, and — if you can — a little rest. Otherwise, as they say, PARTYYY!
