Andréanne's Journal - February 2025

The beginning of the year is always pretty relaxed at Sans-Façon. We are slowly recovering (both physically and financially) from the holidays, so it’s pretty rare for us to start buying cosmetics in large quantities. That being said, a good beauty treatment always has its place, and for me, February is definitely the time when I’m applying the most facial masks. I’m a huge fan of the clay radiance mask! If you’ve been curious about trying it, you’re in luck! We included it, along with the headband and cleansing milk, as part of February’s monthly bundle. (Psst… since you’re taking the time to read my journals, I’ve just decided to give you a 15% promo code on the clay radiance mask. Just use the code JOURNAL15 at checkout. Valid until February 28, 11:59 p.m EST)

During the first couple of months in a new year, we always take advantage of the downtime to get a head start on various projects. It’s also a big start to the year for Laurence, who recently joined our social media team! The downtime won’t last long, believe me; 2025 is shaping up to be a busy year at Sans-Façon. We’re finally launching new products! I’ve been so excited for this to happen. Did you find it was a long wait too? I’ve said it quite often already, but it takes us two to three years to create and launch a new product. There are SO MANY important steps that need to happen between the time we decide to create a new product to the time we’re actually able to put it on the shelves. I’ll explain all the steps in the March edition. We’ll be launching a new product at that time, so I’ll be able to explain everything that we had to do in order to be able to bring it to you!

If you’re reading this journal right as I post it, on February 13th, you’re only a few days away from the launch of an initiative we set up at Sans-Façon. It’s a great project that will warm the hearts of many and that’s very much in line with one of main goals for 2025: Give more to the community that we appreciate so much. Because we’re often putting forward several initiatives through Womance, and SF shares the same team in the office, I do admit that we often put SF aside in this regard. We involve the entire Womance team for fundraisers (like our Enfant Soleil initiative), but often help less on the SF side since the team is already involved in other Womance projects.

It’s going to be a big challenge for me this year to invest more time and energy into Sans-Façon. The distribution of our products in pharmacies across the province has been very demanding in recent years, but this year it’s time for me to devote myself to other areas since we now have a great representative that takes care of all our different points of sale. To be very honest, I often feel like I repeat myself when talking about SF and I worry that I no longer know how to present the products without becoming redundant! I’m afraid to annoy you with all my talk about concealer, hair masks, etc. Do you find me annoying? Honestly, right now, I just want to talk to you about this stuff every day because I love the products we created so much! It’s really incredible how much Sans-Façon has changed my life. I put so much less pressure on myself now. It’s become easier for me to put on makeup and easier to feel beautiful. I just can’t help but always want to talk to you about it! But really, send me a message if you find me too much haha.
