Here at Sans-Façon, we strongly believe that true, authentic beauty does not need to equal perfection. That’s why, in January 2025, after we discovered printing errors that made more than 2000 of our clay radiance masks unsellable, we immediately looked for a solution that aligned with our values. Even though the actual product was perfectly fine, the packaged masks could no longer be stocked on our shelves. Rather than wasting them, we chose to use this slight setback as an opportunity to make a positive impact in our community.
We could have easily simply sold the misprinted products at a discounted price, but the thought of sharing and giving back seemed so much more meaningful. After some deliberation we decided to share them with various non-profit organizations so that people who were in need could have access to good quality skincare products. But we didn’t do it alone; in fact, we involved our community in the process, asking followers through a video shared on social media to help us identify organizations across Quebec that would benefit from receiving our product.
We also talked about the companies that we collaborate with and greatly appreciate. Sans-Façon truly believes that workplace wellbeing is essential and beneficial to all, which is why we have selected a dozen companies from various sectors to offer them a well-deserved treat.

We were able to take what started as a mistake and turn it into an opportunity to do something good, and in doing so we were also reminded that highlighting true, authentic beauty is far from being limited to trying to achieve a flawless appearance.
This initiative was right in line with Sans-Façon's core values and we wanted to take the opportunity to share with you once again that, in all cases, the content within is always more important than the container.
