Here are her answers to the questions we asked her about her cosmetic habits, her purchasing process and her perception of the industry in general.

How do you feel about the cosmetics industry in general?

Regarding the cosmetics industry, I have to admit that I still find there is a certain pressure to have to wear makeup, to know about all the different companies and try a ton of different products. I find that many companies make very similar products and it can be stressful to feel pressured into trying what’s trending, especially if you’re someone who doesn’t really wear a lot of everyday makeup.

How does makeup make you feel?

It boosts my confidence; it makes me feel good. Usually, when I wear makeup, it’s for a special occasion, so putting on makeup for me is synonymous with happiness and self-assurance. Plus, it’s always fun to feel beautiful.

What attracted you to Sans-Façon?

What attracted me to Sans-Façon is really their simplicity. It is very minimalist. We really know what their product is. I liked that it was very simple, exactly like the way I prefer to wear makeup.

What do you prioritize when buying cosmetic products?

I have to say that when I buy makeup I’m originally really drawn to the packaging. I like when it’s beautiful and minimalist; the aesthetic is important. It’s almost like sometimes I use my products as part of my room decoration. I like products that look beautiful even when I’m not using them.

What is your favourite product from the Sans-Façon range?

The product at Sans-Façon that I really like is the loose powder because, when I apply it, I know that I won't need to touch up during the day. My makeup will stay as I did it and I won't have to worry about it.
